From Jasper Wallace (Consume Nodes Database) Date 17 Oct 01 It's about time we split 10.0.0.0/8 into geographic areas so I've rather arbitarily put 10.2.0.0/16 (65536 ip addresses) in for Luton & Dunstable. We can always cut it down to say 10.2.0.0/19 (8192 ip addresses, 32 /24's), which may be a bit more realistic. There have been comments on the list that the maximum amount of wireless clients per node is about 20 ish (I wish I had a better figure). So if we use networks with 32 ip's (/27, netmask 255.255.255.224) everywhere we should be fine.
