Please note that it takes a lot of effort to transport and setup the demonstrations, so they are not available to single individuals. We can demonstrate to groups only at present and require a large room with two or more tables/desks for the computers and nearby power supply sockets. Ask for a demo and see the videos over the network !!!! The next demonstration will be at St Albans Movie Makers, United Reformed Church Hall, Holmwood Rd, St Albans on Tuesday 28 May 02 at 8.00pm. This will mainly be about distribution of video over the network. Limehouse Workshop ------------------ After that, we intend to demonstrate video and video-conferencing using wireless links at the Consume Workshop at Limehouse Town Hall, London E14 7HA, on Sunday 2nd June 3pm-9pm. Representatives from US wireless networking groups [Matt (BAWUG) & Terry (NYwireless)] will join the workshop sessions. The provisional agenda includes: * Freenetwork review, Active portals, Creative content * Cartography and use and abuse of public space, * Establishing distance links ..IP tunnelling * Meet other UK WLAN groups, * What's happening on the legal side .. RA/DTI report... * Antenna and node builders fair.. ! This meeting is free to interested people - just bring your own food and drink. ALL WELCOME.
